Janine Halloran

Janine has over a decade of experience working with children and adolescents in a wide range of settings. One of her main goals is to ensure youngsters have coping strategies to manage difficult feelings and situations.  Janine currently works as a School Adjustment Counselor in Weston, Massachusetts.  She helps her 4th & 5th grade students problem solve social and academic situations on a daily basis.  Janine also does a lot of work preparing those students for the transition to middle school.  Janine has done focused work on Social Thinking as part of a Professional Learning Community in the Weston School System.

Janine is a Certified School Counselor and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Massachusetts. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Gordon College in Wenham, Massachusetts and her Masters in Counseling from Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts.

Janine lives in Braintree with her husband Zack and young children Elisa and Noah.  In her free time, she enjoys gardening, knitting and quilting.
